Miami is a vibrant colorful city that has incredible food, culture and world-class nightlife. Miami is also known for having some of the most beautiful bodies in the country. If you're traveling to Miami, you may be looking for a good way to stay in shape while you're in this incredible city. There are many fitness options you can choose from and a wide variety of Miami gyms that you can use to keep up your energy levels to make the most of your vacation.

Miami has a large selection of gyms and fitness centers to cater to all needs and budgets. If you want to take some Pilates and Spinning classes and also get in some cardio while in Miami, head over to Sanctuary 7 on SW 3rd Avenue. Mat and Spinning Pilates classes start at $20 a class. You can also purchase a 10-class card for $140 that you can use if you're a frequent Miami traveler. Monthly memberships cost anywhere from $50 to $100 depending on the classes you want to take.

Another fitness club in Miami that is a local favorite is X-treme Rock Climbing located on SW 139th Court. This former airplane hangar is where locals like to go to spend grueling few hours climbing walls and challenging themselves. Miami also has health clubs which offer more comprehensive services, such as Symbio on Purdy Avenue where you can get free gym passes.

It's no secret that Miami is sizzling hot, and ladies can get their body in shape while taking pole dancing classes, acro-yoga and boxing at the glamour Ironflower Fitness gym on Biscayne Boulevard. Here everything is decorated in black and pink, and women can bellydance, strip or Bootcamp their way to fitness. Individual classes cost $15. Save by getting five classes for $70.

If you want to check out one of the best boxing gyms in Miami, look no further than Biscayne Boxing and Fitness Club where classes are just $15 a piece. If you're going to be in Miami for a few weeks, it saves to pay the monthly non-contract fee of $120. This fitness gym offers traditional boxing, plus spinning, body sculpting, and intense boxing cardio classes and many other workout options.

One of the best Miami gyms happens to be a national chain located in hotspots such Chicago, New York City, and coming soon Las Vegas. The David Barton Gym on South Beach resembles a nightclub more than a gym and has mood lighting, amazing interior decoration, pumping house music, and tons of state of the art equipment. While this place doesn't come cheap at a monthly fee of over $100, you can get a complimentary guest pass on their website to their many gym locations. Miami also has other national chains such as Bally's Total Fitness and Gold's Gym, and both offer a seven-day free membership and have many gym locations. These Miami gyms have monthly fees that are much more reasonable ranging from $30 to $40.

Miami is an incredible city, and it would be a shame to spend it indoors, and so when it comes to fitness in Miami, South Beach is where it's at. You can get a great workout while swimming or playing volleyball on the sand.
