The Miami International Boat Show is one of the city's most popular events and is the largest annual event in Florida, drawing in over 100,000 attendees. The show is known as the world's premiere boating event and has the largest display of boats and yachts with 3,000 different types of boats such as powerboats, sailboats, speed boats and over 2,000 exhibitors coming in to Miami from all over the world. The show also features the latest in marine technology, accessories and electronics.

The Miami International Boat Show is produced by the National Marine Manufacturers Association which has 1,700 marine accessory and boat manufacturers as members. This iconic boating event has been going on for the past 71 years and is held every year in the middle of February.

The event is so big that it spans across three different locations in Miami. The main event venue is held at the Miami Beach Convention Center on Convention Center Drive in the heart of South Beach with some of Miami's best restaurants and shipping, and only two blocks from the water. The other events of the Miami International Boat Show are organized at the Sea Isle Marina and Yachting Center on North Bayshore Drive, and the Strictly Sail Miami is held at Miamarina at Bayside, located on Biscayne Boulevard.
